Welcome to Queensland Country Health

Queensland Country Health Limited is a non-profit Health Benefits Fund registered under the National Health Act 1953. We operate as an open fund offering low cost, high benefit Private Health Insurance to all Australian residents.

The Fund was originally established to assist members to protect themselves against the potential financial burden of hospital and extras charges and operated as the MIM Employees Health Society from 14 February 1977 to 31 December 1998. On the 1 January 1999 Queensland Country Credit Union were asked to take over the Management Rights of the MIM Employees Health Society and since that date we commenced trading as Queensland Country Health Ltd.

Queensland Country Health services are available through the Queensland Country Credit Union branch network and direct access to our Health Insurance Department.
